Getting fit, looking great and being healthy is a lot more than just doing an exercise routine. You have to make adjustments to your lifestyle, including adjustments to your diet. There are a million options available to you out there when it comes to dieting and they are all based on different principles, lifestyle choices etc. You have to find the right diet to fit your lifestyle and way of life.
Lets take a look at diet fitness.
Diet fitness is as essential as exercise itself. Diet for fitness provides the essential nutrition one needs to restore worn-out muscles and for healthy growth. Diet fitness should never be taken for granted. As the name implies, high carb diets concentrates on taking in carbohydrate-rich foods while high fat diets endorses fat-rich foods. High carb diets are utilized to glycogen stored in the liver and muscles. A person can follow a high carb and low fat fitness diet or the other way around.
Research shows that sustainable loss of weight can only be achieved on a diet which suits the individual food preferences, lifestyle, medical profile and satiety signals and its for that reason that I don’t buy “fad diets” or diet books. Sure, they work for some people, but that doesn’t mean its going to work for me. I prefer to eat sensibly and healthily all the time. Sure, I eat things I shouldn’t do, but I don’t over-do it and I balance it all out with healthier meals and snacks.
In my opinion, fast fad diets are dangerous. You can drink the special milkshake’s starve yourselves of carbs and eat lettuce till the cows come home, but once you leave the diet and get back into your old habits, you’re going to put the weight back on, and perhaps put EVEN more weight back on. I have seen this happen to several female friends of mine. Its the bad habits and the quick diets that are the problem.
So don’t go out looking for quick fixes and trendy diets, work on your habits and tweak a few things about your lifestyle and you’ll see long-term permanent results with the right sensible diet.
