WHAT MAKES YOU ADD WEIGHT?

You add weight when you take in more calories than your body needs. When you eat more food than your body actually needs to do its daily activities, it stores up the excess as fat. One pound of fat is 3500calories. so for every 3500 calories that your body does not use........you have added 1 pound to your weight.

WHAT MAKES YOU LOSE WEIGHT?

You lose weight when you eat less than what your body needs to maintain its daily activities. When the body does not have calories to do this work, it goes into its fat stores, and uses some of the fat stored in your body as energy!!!

So when you do exercise worth 3500 calories, you have lost one pound!
