For some of us, its hard to really cut back on your diet and you really actually want to lose weight.
A good way to do this is a diet called the step diet.
The step diet simply involves trying to lose weight when cutting down on your calories seems very difficult. The ideal thing when doing the step diet is to reduce your caloric intake a little bit, and increase your activities via steps.
The Program usually lasts for about twelve weeks, in which you must take 2,000 steps everyday, either by walking or climbing your staircase, and reduce your food intake by 25percent. As each week progresses, you increase the amount of steps taken per week by 500!
To ensure this is a success, it is advisable you keep a food and exercise journal, so that you know how much you ate each day, and how much steps you took each day, The advantage of this diet is that you eat whatever you want, just ensure it is 25 percent less than what you used to take in on a normal day!
The step diet is good in that it is something you can do at home, and since it does not restrict you from any kind of food, you would be sure that you are eating healthy and losing weight, with the step diet.
It might look very easy, but one of the drawbacks is that most times, you would find it hard to actually count all the steps you take daily, and for those who do office jobs, coming back home and climbing the steps or walking 2000 steps would simply just get us unconscious.
For those who can try it, it is actually a good diet, and if followed religiously, you are sure to lose weight!!!
