To brew fennel tea, take four teaspoons of the seeds and mix with 3 cups of water. Steep the mixture in boiling water for fifteen minutes. Strain the mixture and set aside the tea. Drink one cup of tea either hot or cold prior to each meal per day.

Cayenne pepper is another wonderful supplement that can be either eaten or taken in pill form as an extract to help boost the metabolism. This also works to help boost the immune system. Garlic works in this manner as well. These are excellent supplements to add to the daily diet not just for weight loss but for a healthy diet for life.

As you can see there are many ways you can lose weight and be healthy without spending thousands of dollars on expensive diet products only to be disappointed time and again. The key to losing weight is learning how to eat for life and sticking with it.
